Mixed Feelings

Posted on July 8, 2012July 10, 2012 By sweet surrender 6 Comments on Mixed Feelings

It seems like I’ll be having what I’ve always wanted but at the same time I’m worry about it because I don’t have much time left here. Even though there’s more than 6 months left (if unlucky, then less than 6 months!) still it will be over extremely soon!

As simple as what it should be happening now. I should be at home now for good because my previous visa expires on 30th June. If I didn’t continue my study, I would be blogging from home and maybe worrying about what to do next as I’m really dread to have to start all over again and I feel like I’m going back to where I was 1 1/4 year ago, no difference. Also, I didn’t get to achieve much and didn’t even get the chance to travel but stuck in Adelaide. Believe it! I’m here for more than a year yet I haven’t venture out of South Australia -.-”

Now that I’m still here since I changed my program, my visa will expire in March 2013. Judging from how things are going on now, things are getting interesting and it’s gonna pose a huge challenge for me for sure, it’s will no longer be about just me but another person too. My life will take a change of course for either better or worst. Happy but worry at the same time. If lucky, I’ll get to stay till the end of my visa, if not then I must leave in December due to the immigration restriction (long story…). Else, I might be staying here for good if things are taking another turn but it’s a bit too soon for it. Then again we never know where life will take us to. All we hope is for the best.

Hi Irene, I guess as we say here, the ball is in your court….
Life can be tough sometimes when we have to make certain decisions.
But I’m sure you’ll be fine whatever you decide.
Wishing you good luck, best regards.
    Lee.

Try to look for a job and get employer sponsor.

Uncle Lee, I hope so. Thanks.

William, it’s not easy to find a proper job when you’re on student visa and with only few months validity left. I’ve been to quite a bit of interviews, just one simple question (do you have residency?) and that’s it, they don’t bother to consider anymore. Moreover, most professional jobs require you to work full-time and I can’t do that with my visa, this is another reason people won’t bother to consider too. Else, another requirement if they do hire international students will be IELTS 8 for all components -.-” We’ll see how things go since there’s another thing that I have to take care of now to determine where things will lead me to.

Just be persistent and patient. you can do it. And you can go through all those ups and downs. You are just half way through so do not turn back.

    Good luck

William, just hope the best. Thanks.

Rose, yes, I’m not going to turn back so easily unless well… If something really bad happen. Thanks.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
