Green Apple Biscuits

Posted on July 30, 2008July 30, 2008 By sweet surrender 6 Comments on Green Apple Biscuits

Let’s talk about food again, it’s been a while… This time I’m showing you Green Apple Biscuits from Italy but bought in UK *LOL* It’s claimed that this is Italian specialty biscuit.

I love the box! It’s so pretty and it can be reused as box to store something or as gift box.

I don’t really like this biscuits, it doesn’t taste like what I’ve expected it to taste like hahaha… Putting too high hope on it. If you taste it carefully, you can taste a bit of green apple sourness but not that strong, very bland, overpowered by the sugar and egg taste. The taste is quite confusing, it’s like too sweet but not too sweet, don’t know how to explain. As if too much flour and egg yolks are used. Hahaha… I really don’t know how to explain the taste to you. It’s just so weird.

The ingredients used in this biscuit are wheat flour, sugar, vegetable margerine, egg yolks, green apple paste, partially skimmed milk, and natural flavourings.

They have a website for it, visit it if you want at mincarelli.com

Well, the biscotti tend to have light eggy and sweet taste. Asian biscuits tend to have more stronger flavour.. That’s one thing I missed…

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
