Nothing much to update today. Actually a lot but very tired now. Too many things going on today.
Went to sing K that lasted 4 hours(again… :P), then go to Kuching Festival food fair for dinner for about one and half hour, then go for a meeting that lasted about two and a half hour. TIRED. Mentally and physically tired.
Will update tomorrow. Took some photos here and there with my new camera π Will show you tomorrow.
Hmm… I thought I did post about this somewhere in my blog but I can’t find it, hmm… Maybe in pre-Wordpress days. Nevermind… Let’s just see what we had last Friday before going to Sarawak ICT Expo 2008. We went to Jade Post Tea House at Jalan Song Thian Cheok for lunch, if you have My Privilege Book, you can get 10% discount if you spend RM20 and above per visit.
Let’s see what we had:
Left: Our drinks, Wu Mei Tea(RM2.50), Peppermink Milk Tea(RM3), Pineapple Green Tea(RM2.50), Honey Green Tea(RM2.50)
Right: I ordered Wen Zhou Wantan Tang Hoon Soup(RM5), I prefer the one I had previously at the branch at Jalan Keretapi years back.
Left: Golden Fried Rice(RM4), no idea how it tasted π
Right: Pork Chop Noodle(RM4.50), no idea how it tasted too hahaha… At least no complain.
Braised Pork Rice(RM5), so fatty!! -.-” I think it’s braised because I’m not so sure how to read that word and I think that word means “breaised”, just some wild guess hahaha… I only got the bill, it’s all in Chinese words hahaha…
It was packed during lunch time, their business is quite good else they won’t be staying in business for so long and opened another branch at Jalan Keretapi few years back.
Been there? I went there on Saturday and just now. The photos you see here were taken yesterday and today using my mobile phone and some of the food pictures with my new camera hehehe… I didn’t go on the first day, I missed the parade else you would see tonnes of colourful floats and people in my post. However I managed to watch the fireworks display from my bedroom window. Here’s the video:

There are about 80 stalls at the fair. This was taken yesterday before 5.30pm, it was raining when I was there after my exam.

Left: The balloons stall that definitely will be there. Last time when we were young, my dad had to buy balloons from here everytime we went to the fair. He had to do this for more than 10 years. Imagine how many balloon he had bought for us, we got at least one balloon during every trip there. Now we’re all grown up and we don’t need to buy any balloon anymore but we will surely buy food.

Left: Don’t know what it’s called, it’s RM5 for this one “ball” of rice. So many people bought it and it took more than half hour to get ours. -.-”
Right: Sambal stingray! Don’t know how much but not nice… The sambal was pretty bitter.

Right: From some restaurant. Bought the 3-layer pork meat with salted veggies, the one in black. Very expensive and very small in portion, not nice at all.
Left: “Chui kueh”, a type of Teochew cuisine if I’m not mistaken since it’s from a Teochew restaurant. My dad will definitely buy this when he’s there.
Right: Yam basket from the same restaurant. Didn’t buy this though.
That’s all for the time being, I’ll be visiting this fair quite often hehehe… So you will see more post coming your way.
It’s weekend! I just came back from my exam. Tomorrow last one!! Yippeee!! I found out that my Penang trip doesn’t clash with my class next semester! YIPEE!! Happy! Happy! It will be my semester break when I go for my holiday! YAY!!

Ebi Tenpura(just fried prawn ;p), Tobiko Sushi & Salmon Onagiri(the Tobiko Sushi is very luxurious, love fish roes? This is really delicious!! I heard first grade fish roes were used. As for Salmon Onagiri, it could really really make you full.)…
Deep fried soft shell crab(Very nice, not oily at all) and Salmon Sashimi(can you get this thickness at you-know-where? *SLURP*).

Went to Sarawak ICT Expo 2008 just few hours ago. Good thing I went today because I could take my sweet sweet time browsed tru’ all the booths that had the things that I needed. If I go tomorrow or Sunday, I don’t think we could even move fast and go back and forth of different booths many many times! π Bargained and bargained, thanks to my sis and Jimmy else I’m hopeless in bargaining. I bought something!!! Tell you later about it hehehe…
They changed the way how you enter the hall which it’s better because it can reduce the congestion. One side in, one side out.
There are more space to move now compare to previously. But at the end of the hall, there is no way to make u-turn, they block it.
No show girls hahaha… π However you can see many colours this year, I mean the uniforms hahaha…

Will blog about it after my exam π You can’t really bargain much for Canon cameras but you can ask them to give more free gifts. Good thing we went today, we could take our sweet sweet time making decision and bargain with them. No installment for cameras below RM1000.
I spent more than RM1K(camera-RM999 and dined out-RM10+) today -.-” I’m RM1K+ poorer now, then tomorrow I have to pay my next semester entrolment fee, which is RM300. After that, on Sunday, I need to go hunt for Cooler Master that costs RM100+ at PC Fair also because I didn’t bring enough cash today and many people told me to wait until Sunday to get cheaper price. *LOL* We’ll see by then, after exam maybe… OMG! Spend almost RM2K in just 3 days -.-“
