Wow… so many weddings this year. Yesterday(30.9.2006) I went to not-so-familiar-friend marriage registration. Well… Actually I’m just being a busy body and went there to help them take photos though I know my photo taking skill sucks big time 😛 Since Jimmy was required to take video of the ceremony, there’s no one to help take photos so I went LOL…
It’s at the same place as Ann’s, Teochew Association. However, the way they conducted it was different. The couples could choose the language they want. This time, it’s in English and Teochew dialect.
It was pretty interesting. There were two of them registering at the same time. Hmm… How to put it? Let’s just put it this way… Couple A is the witnesses of Couple B and vice versa.
Ely(the guy with blue stripes tie) and Cindy(the girl in blue blouse with ribbon) were the witnesses for Ngen(the guy with dark coloured tie) and Priscilla(the girl in blue blouse) and vice versa. Ngen and Priscilla had theirs in English; Cindy and Ely had theirs in Teochew dialect.
Here’s the photos of the couples after signing the certificates:
Wish them all the best in their marriage 🙂
Hmm… this is the third and fourth marriage registrations that I attended this year and 5 couples got married(I didn’t attend Mei’s registration) this year. First was Ann’s, then Alysha’s, next was Ngen and Priscilla, then Ely & Cindy. Anymore coming? It’s such a good year for people to tie the knots don’t you think?
