Protect Your Skin

Posted on October 19, 2007October 20, 2007 By sweet surrender No Comments on Protect Your Skin

Girls! We must be careful when come to selecting skincare products. We are Asians and Asians skin structure and types are different compare to those in the western counterpart. Most skincare products are researched and developed by those in the west that are only suitable for them, not for us. Ours needs are different from them, we need something formulated for us.

I’m lucky for not having pigmented skin. For those with pigmented skin, you have to take extra precaution when you purchase skincare product else you will just make your skin worst. At ORIKI Cosmeceuticals, you can get all type of skincare products specially formulated for Asian, Mediterranean and Olive (AMO) skin types.

Classified skin type as dry, normal, combination and oily is the thing of the passed. Nowadays, pigmentation plays an enormously important role in the best skin care. I’m sure you don’t want to have different colour of patches on your skin right?

I was exposed to the afternoon sun at Miri for two days and my skin on my face was flaking when I’m back. I’m already 25, I’m no longer a teenager, I cannot fool around with my skin anymore! I’m so worry that after getting sunburn like this, it might cause premature wrinkles, pigmentations or even damage to my skin 🙁 Maximum protection is needed to ensure that all these things don’t happen prematurely. Besides using Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 you must bring an umbrella or wear a hat, also sunglasses when you are out there under the sun.

Don’t torture your skin. Protect it as much as you can with the right products. We all want to look younger than our age. You don’t want to look old before you reach the age right?

What Are The Songs That Make You Cry?

Posted on October 19, 2007November 2, 2007 By sweet surrender 7 Comments on What Are The Songs That Make You Cry?

There is no point loving someone that do not like/accept any of your family member. You are just wasting your time. Get it?!?!!? He/She just doesn’t deserve your love OK?!?!?!

Actually, I’m kinda out of thing to blog already. Hahaha… There’re a lot but don’t feel like blogging about them. All the food posts were out already, no more food post until… Don’t know when… Then I thought of this, what are the songs that make you cry?

Don’t ask me why, some of the songs do make me cry when I listen to them and usually I would try to avoid listening to them in public. I guess these songs do potray something inside of me that can’t be seen with naked eyes or in my subconscious mind.

Do you have songs that give you some sort of emotional rush? Hehehe… You want to blog about this also can, we make it as a tag(do let me know if you are blogging about it too, just give a link back and I’ll know). If you don’t want to blog about it but want to share it with me, you can just leave your comment in this post. Or you can also just read and leave hahaha…

I’ll list out some, there are a lot but can’t quite remember unless they’re playing now.
1. SClub7 – Never Had A Dream Come True
2. David Tao – “Ai Hen Jian Dan” or in English it’s “Love Is Simple”
3. Lee Hom – “Forever Love”
4. Guy Sebastian – Angels Brought Me Here

That’s all 😛 Somebody actually always like to take one of these songs to “threat” me, just want to make me cry GRRR… Hahaha…

Secret Garden

Posted on October 18, 2007October 18, 2007 By sweet surrender 9 Comments on Secret Garden

Thought it’s a newly open cafe, so we went there on Tuesday for lunch. Secret Garden is actually Room205, still the same management but due to something, they had to change their name and renovate the whole shop. Now, it looks brighter, clean and cheerful compare to the previous black and dark interior. What had happened? Well… I’m not going to tell you, it’s up to you to find out…

I was so worry that they would tell me to not take photo in there as previously when it was Room205, I was stopped from taking photos in there. Lucky not this time. However, the waiter’s face looked as if very “tulan”, when we went in, he gave a not-this-people-again look.

Anyway, back to the food. We ordered a pot of hot jasmine tea(RM4.50). It’s just tea from teabag, nothing to rave about.

Left: Sirloin steak with mushroom sauce(RM19.90), it’s quite hard to eat using this kind of hotplate. First time I came across this kind way of serving and small size of steak but I like the mashed potato and when it’s still sizzling when it’s served. I’m craving for more steak!!! Whenver I have steak, if I came across one that I don’t really fancy, I would crave for better one to satisfied my palette. 😛

Right: Tom Yam Fried Rice(RM6), no comment about this as I didn’t taste it.

The bill was RM30.40 but was given 10% discount as they said they are having promotion right now.

By the way, the menu is really extensive! Gosh! Scary… So many choices!!! However… Many spelling mistakes in there hahaha…

Break Out Blogger Award

Posted on October 17, 2007October 18, 2007 By sweet surrender 13 Comments on Break Out Blogger Award

🙁 My Advertlets cheque is not here yet 🙁 Lazy Poslaju!

WAH! Got an award again… The award was given by Bok Jae. Thank you very much!! This is my third award. Oh well… I didn’t put them at my sidebard because the width of the images were quite big for my sidebar unless I edit them but I always forget to do it :P. I thought I did put up the Rockin’ Girl Blogger award before but apparently the other time when I cleaned up my sidebar, I accidentally removed it hahaha… Didn’t notice it until now.

So… What is this award all about?

“This award casts a spotlight on bloggers who are just beginning to draw lotsa attention — the equivalent of a song with a bullet on Billboard’s Top 100 chart. Lotsa good posts. Lotsa good buzz. These bloggers are going places in a hurry.”

I want more attention please… 😛 Joking…

Aiksss… I forgot… Need to pass this award to other bloggers. -.-” If that’s the case… I will pass this to Wayne and Ehon.

Chong Qing Steamboat(3)

Posted on October 17, 2007November 23, 2008 By sweet surrender 19 Comments on Chong Qing Steamboat(3)

Continue…

We reached Jalan Song and there were so many cars and people… Traffic jam!! So decided at the last second that we changed to RH Plaza. We said we’re going to meet at Green Gallery and find a place to eat. When finally found a parking space in front of Pai Jia Le(not sure about the English name), I stepped out of the car and smelt something familiar, then I saw the tables…. It’s Chong Qing Steamboat!! WAH!!! So happy! So we decided to have steamboat! 😛 Hehehe… Second round dinner.

Left: So… Now left the 5 of us, we ordered a bit of food for it as previously we had our dinner already hehehe… Finally!!! So happy! Yummy!!! We ordered the least spicy base.
Right: Needle mushroom.

Left: Two types of fishball. We ordered each half-half hehehe…
Right: Fu zhu, again.. :p Don’t know what it’s called in English, I can’t remember…

Left: Pork.
Right: Xiao bai chai 😛 Don’t know what it’s called in English.

Left: Dry mushroom.
Right: Chicken meat.

Hehehe… There were 5 of us but someone ate half way and said he needed to pick up his friend and left the 4 of us. Goodness gracious… food for 5 and only the 4 of us finished them up! So full! What a night… Driving around Kuching to find food hahaha… From one end to another end…

By the way, a reminder for those that don’t know how to read Chinese, the menu is fully in Chinese.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
