Another Vietnamese establishment, Mint & Basil, this one at tHe Spring. The interior decorations is not bad. Quite nice. I like the style but it looks more like coffee chain to me than a Vietnamese restaurant.
I have high expectations on the pho bo (RM13.90), this pho didn’t live up to my expectations. It’s way too SWEET! That’s all I can say. Portion was OK and the price is OK for me. Not sure about the other food as I didn’t try the rest. Generally, I only eat pho.
Can’t wait for next month to have a proper pho in Perth. One of the food I miss the most in OZ. Even though pho is Vietnamese food but good pho can be found in OZ because of the Vietnamese community staying there.
Next time, I’ll try the one at Carpenter Street. Just not sure of its opening hour.
Hi Irene, wow! This is, always been my favourite dish. There’s a Vietnamese restaurant just across the road from our apartment, and will see me there eating one the many varieties of bee pho noodles.
Its very popular where we are, can see so many of these restaurants.
The shop pic you put up, yes, looks more like a coffee house. Funny…never heard of KL having this.
You have fun…stay beautiful.
Lee.
Lee, pho, my favourite! Vietnamese restaurant can be find in a lot of developed countries. They are normally operated by the Vietnamese themselves and they are good in retaining their taste even they are away from their home country. This one is in the shopping mall and well… Doesn’t live up to my expectations. I’m sure there are lots of Vietnamese eateries in KL than Kuching just that Malaysians are not really into this cuisine. Thanks for dropping by.
Maybe next time i should try it. Is there any other dish?
Willie, yes, they do have others but I only eat pho no matter which Vietnamese restaurant I go hehehe… Not that I never warn you about it ;p
