Maxis10: HTC HD7: What’s in the Phone?

Posted on November 28, 2010November 30, 2010 By sweet surrender 11 Comments on Maxis10: HTC HD7: What’s in the Phone?

Phew… I thought I could get this video up faster than the first one but I was so wrong. Took me more than 12 hour for the production. My voice was too soft so I decided to use texts instead. The music is not meant to be as background music, it’s meant to cover my voice and so that the video is not all quiet for 5 minutes at least ;p. Don’t have the time to do the recording again. Heavy post production.

If I’m not mistaken there’re some mistakes in the texts. Kind of lazy to change them because it will take another 30 minutes to finalized everything every time I found out mistakes after publishing -.-” My computer hangs like crazy. I hope I still manage to get the message across ;p

Some extras that I did not share in the video:

Left: Start screen.

Right: The wallpaper.

Viewing my blog with it.

Left: The screen that greeted me when I’m in HTC Hub.

Right: My very first SMSes that I got, almost gave me heart attack, for no reason, my RM5 gone. Make sure you change your setting to your home/office WiFi as soon as possible before you explore the phone further. I accidentally pressed on some applications that required Internet connection because I did not know.

Left: Making a call, big numbers, great for those having some eyesight problem.

Right: The calculator, big enough too.

Next episode, I think I might talk about the camera. It will be in both post and video format. I think…

hi, you could do better without the background song. it’s not really needed in the first place.

don, did not plan to have the background music at first but somehow I have no idea why my voice is so soft(but the previous episode was better *shrug*). I couldn’t even hear myself even with the volume set to full blast, so at the end, I have to include the background music. I’m still trying to master the skill of video blogging and find out what works best for me.

    Thanks for coming 🙂

Were you using MovieMaker to edit? If you were, you could actually boost the volume of your actual voice, and probably lower down the BG music. Never the less. Good job..

But quite surprised why HTC went for OS 7 instead of Android. oh well..

Alex, is it? I didn’t know LOL… Thanks. No wonder. Hehehe… Tried looking for the setting, found the one for the music but for my own voice, it’s already MAX and still so soft. Besides, my voice is not meant to be heard that’s why I have the music with the text. Using the music was my last resort else I have to redo the recording ;p.

Lol ok. It’s at the audio track there if I’m not mistaken. What you could do is covert the file first, and then reimport the whole thing to WMV and then boost it up again. Hahaha..

BTW forgotten to ask you about how sensitive is the touch screen. Especially typing on it?

Alex, the screen is super duper sensitive that it kind of annoys me sometimes ;p Light tap, effortless to type.

Hello Irene, wow! You are good! I never knew the phone can do all that!
Its really fantastic what h/phones can do today.
To think I saw the first telephone wayyyy back in the late ’40s with only 3 numbers, and going thru the operator.

You have fun and good work, Irene. Lee.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
