I Go to the Gym

Posted on March 2, 2010March 3, 2010 By sweet surrender 5 Comments on I Go to the Gym

I’ve been going to the gym since yesterday evening. Hahaha… Most of my friends will not believe me because going to the gym is never in my list or even cross my mind. I never even step into one until Level Up Fitness opened its door.

I was given with a one month membership to redeem but I didn’t redeem it even until now hehehe… Kenny did ask me few times when am I going to redeem it and I kept telling him I’ll do it after CNY. I didn’t break my promise, I really went to redeem my free membership yesterday, right after Chap Goh Meh *LOL* However, I redeemed the one I got when I joined the body combat session at tHe Spring instead of the one month pass ;p.

Actually thought of redeeming the one month pass but I couldn’t find the letter before I went out of the house, it’s somewhere in my room but I couldn’t locate it that day. I remembered that I had the other pass to redeem so I decided to redeem it instead of the one month pass. Anyway, I found the letter already. Will redeem that soon maybe in April or May. We’ll see.

Now… I’m having jelly legs because of the group classes that I joined. Talking about someone who never exercise for so many years *LOL* So far I had joined body sculpt aerobics, body combat, Taekwondo, and fitball aerobics. The last time I experienced jelly legs was joining dance class.

Body sculpt aerobics and fitball aerobics are really something! I got my jelly legs from these two exercises! I did body combat many times and pilates once but never gave me such problem. I thought body combat is vigorous enough but I was so wrong.

As for Taekwondo, it’s not that tiring except I sucks in my coordination. Learnt some tips on how to do self defence too. I have yellow belt in wushu but it was more than 15 years. Ask me now and I couldn’t remember anything about it except the ma bu and split. I couldn’t split now hehehe…. Ma bu is fine but Taekwondo didn’t use this. However, with my jelly legs I’m having, anything that need me to hold something similar to ma bu position couldn’t be done at all ;p

I didn’t use any of the gym equipment because I’m not interested and I have the bicycle and treadmill at home that I never touch, so…

That’s all about my group classes experience at Level Up. In summary, jumping, kicking, running, punching, stretching are nothing to me but not those exercises that need to incorporate things like dumbbell or gym ball. Don’t have that stamina. Need to build it.

Tomorrow I’ll join Yoga+Pilates and maybe a bit of body combat. Looking forward to the belly dance this Friday.

    Annie, heheh… legs so painful.

Jfook, if you just want to go for a day, the walk-in rate is RM35 if not mistaken. You will get full access to everything.

Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
