Went to Dessert Paradise at Precinct 88, Jalan Song(at the same row of Cosway, the same building as Starbucks) with my friend to do some gossiping few days ago ;p. It’s there since last year(if not mistaken) but never got the chance to go until that day.
The lighting in there was weird. One section yellowish, one section blueish, another section reddish. We sat at the red lighting section, that explains the odd colour of the desserts we had. It’s hard to take photo without flash with the lighting.
Left: Aloe vera, fungus, and red dates soup (RM4). The smell was so sweet but when drank it, it’s not sweet at all.
Right: Hot glutinous balls aka tang yuan (RM4). The soup is actually luo han guo soup. The bowl contained not only 3 tang yuan with filling(you can choose the filling you want, I asked them to give me assortment of the tang yuan) but also some red dates and longan. Smelt sweet too but not so sweet when drank it. It was just nice.
Would love to visit the place again even though I don’t quite like the lighting ;p They have many fancy desserts for you to try. Price wise, the drinks are a bit high but other desserts seemed not so bad.
By the way, the menu got no English translation just in case you’re thinking of going and you don’t read Chinese. Also, they are not open on Monday.
p/s: Just realized the name is wrong in the photo.
Tried before. Not nice. 🙂
Jfook, I heard also some complained some of the desserts not nice. At least the one we ordered was supposed to be what it supposed to be ;p
Hi Irene,
