Busy, Busy Days

Posted on July 10, 2010July 11, 2010 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Busy, Busy Days

Been pretty busy these days and sleeping late, almost 1am every night. What to do? Too many things to do. Less than a week to go…

Got my assignments, time to get busy again. Then a new project is coming in too. Some more, another exam to sit this month end.

Sunday will come soon, half of July will be gone soon! Eeekk… So fast! Soon… I’ll be having my practical for 2 months or so(since there’s public holidays in between so replacement needed to fulfill the credit hour), damn… Think of it and I feel so sien… I dread the early and fixed working hours. I wonder I can survive or not.

As far as I know, I quit my job last time after working for less than 6 months because I hate such routine, it made me very miserable. That’s how I ended doing what I’m doing now. Hmm… This coming one is only 2 months plus, 6 hours max a day, should be fine but with no pay! The part with no pay is making me dreading it even more! Oh well… By hook or by crook have to get tru’ it else I can’t get my cert. Next year, I might be doing the same thing also sigh… No pay too but less hours required compare to the coming one. However, it will be a totally new environment, nothing close to what I’m having here and I’m on my own.

I’m a lazy girl ;p Nuff’ said.

Hi Irene, you just do what you want to do….but…do it well. Aim for the stars.
Give it all you got…..time flies. And what you don’t want is to one day, bang your head and regret why you never went for it….

I know a young lady, 3 very small kids…she was going nowhere in life….she went for further studies, overseas, leaving her kids behind with her mother, hubby…and maid.

She got her degree, went on to get her Masters, and right now she is about to get her P.hd.
I have to call her ‘Doc’ now instead of her name.

She sacrificed home, loving hubby and kids for their and her future….
The number of times she cried when phoning home to know one or two of her kids sick, or hurt themselves at home….I can imagine the torment she went thru.

With the nights and days of missing her kids, youngest 4, oldest 6, they crying for her at nights…….and almost daily crying missing them….she has exceeded everyones expectations.

    But she endured….
To me….she is one of the bravest persons I have come across and my privilege to know her.

Like you, deciding to study instead of working…she did it.
And Irene, you can and will….GO FOR IT! Lee.

Uncle Lee, thanks 🙂 She’s really brave and lucky her to have a husband that let her went for her dream. My chance to fulfill my dream is near so have to hang in there, I’ve been waiting for it for more than a decade! Hopefully things will go as planned or even better else I’m going to let myself and everyone down.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
