Jonathan and I were given last minute instructions that we would be working in pair and our sponsors were changed to Level Up Fitness and add on another one, Digi, in less than 2 hours. Luckily we worked in pair and not individual as stated earlier. Two minds worked so much better and one. Even though it’s last minute, we managed to pull tru’.


Good thing we had plan B. We were expecting for more and better responses but too bad we didn’t get it. Where’re all the people?!?! For the first time in the weekend I got no problem looking for parking and there’s no jam out there.


Good thing we had supports from people around North Court and some friends.

We let them play a game called Musical Box, similar to Musical Chair. They were require to pass the box around. Whoever got the box will have to draw a piece of paper from the box to get either a question or an activity instruction. The last one standing would be the grand prize winner.


This is second round. We tried to get anyone up to the stage and also draw for a piece of paper from the box to get a question or an activity instruction.

We had to share a microphone. Seriously I hated it. Only one person could do the talking each time and talking alone is boring ;p When one got the microphone, the other got nothing much to do but stood there on stage -.-”

Finally got this last task done. We’ll now just wait for the final result. Thanks to whoever that came and supported our task today.

Updated: Plan changed! I’m not giving out Sushi King or WOW Book instead I’ll be doing something for Level Up. Not sure what time will it start but I think it should be around 1.30pm.

Got some sort of last minute task assigned to us. I was shocked when I saw the event in the newspapers this morning. We were not informed about anything that will be happening this weekend. Basically, less than 24 hours to prepare. It will be our last task before the finale.

My slot will be at 1.30pm, it will last for 20 minutes. I need to organize a game to let the shoppers win prizes. Been cracking my head for ideas. After some discussions, I finally got an idea. Now I need to prepare my props and my scripts for tomorrow. I’m going to give out Sushi King vouchers and WOW Book.

I hope I will do well and not get nervous. Cross my fingers.

Project Alpha in Kuching

Was invited by Kenny to his gym to join the work out session with bloggers from season 1 Project Alpha last Saturday. Earlier on I was covering Toys”R”Us opening therefore I was late. I didn’t plan to join the work out and was just thinking of dropping by to say hi. Besides, after that I had to rush home and go to the Spring to manage the anime collage competition so I wouldn’t have the time to shower and redo my makeup. I only had half an hour.


Left: When I was there, I thought the work out session ended but it’s still going on. Finally got to meet some of the bloggers, there are quite a number that I didn’t manage to greet and take photos with.

Right: Timothy and Audrey. Finally I met someone who is almost as petite as I am! 😉


Left: Huai Bin aka Sixthseal! Finally! It’s been years! He’s the first blogger from Kuching(he used to based here) that I met online way back in 2004(if not mistaken ;p Lost track). We exchanged e-mail for few times and suddenly stopped. Then not long later, totally lost contact.

When I introduced myself to him, I was so afraid that I would make a fool of myself as he might not remember me at all. Phew… Lucky he remembered hahaha…

Met him and all the crews again the next day for lunch at Madam Tang’s. It’s not planned, happened that I was with someone else from KK for lunch and happened that he was going to have a meeting with the film crews. How small the world could be?

Huai Bin wanted to share his laksa with me but I was still full from my beef noodle and slightly nauseous. He even asked the waiter to bring another empty bowl so we could share but I had to turn it down at the end. So so so sorry.

Nice meeting you for real this time Huai Bin! Hahaha…

Left: Jojo Struys!! Eeek… I hate my fringe -.-” Can’t wait for it to be longer. It never came across me that I will get a chance to be so close with a celebrity 😉 Always see her on TV and prints, now can see her for real. Aiks… My face looked big compare to Jojo’s *LOL* Usually I got the smallest face in photos.

Wonderfulborneo.com Launch

Was invited to the launch of Wonderfulborneo.com on Monday night at Sri Shan, the Indian restaurant at Ban Hock Road. Hmm… What should I say about the site? I don’t have to say much really… You can find out about it by just going to the site itself. 😉



It was officiated by Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi Dr. George Chan.

Before Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi Dr. George Chan left, group photo is of course a must to commemorate the launch.


Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi Dr. George Chan joined us, the bloggers, and chatted with us about tourism and how we could help in promoting Sarawak.

Here’s a photo of us with him. Many left earlier so they were not in the photo. It’s was a last minute decision to have photo taken with him just before he left.

Anime Collage Competition & The Photo is Up!

Last Saturday, our task was to organize the Anime Collage Competition held at North Court.


Sandra and I did the emceeing. We were pretty boring hahaha… Imagine announcement by customer service, we did it that way *LOL* Sandra did it in English and I did it in Mandarin. Tried hard to use proper Mandarin but couldn’t achieve it.

On the other note, the sound system was so good that I felt like going to the karaoke to sing!

If only we had a hdd recorder there that time to record down everything. I wonder how we performed that time. I kept looking at the form and read from it ;p There’s no eye contact at all!

Oh ya! Remember to vote for me!! ;p The last day to vote and submit lucky draw form will be on 13th February. Less than 2 weeks! Very easy. Just spend RM100 in a single receipt and get the lucky draw form from the customer service. You will see my face there on the form, just tick! ;p

Now… You’ll be greeted by this at the customer service. I’m going to haunt you for months!

Today, it’s up! My goodness! So big! I didn’t expect it to be so big! It occupies the whole wall! I really don’t dare to go near to see myself there *LOL*
