Anchor, I’m sure everyone will think of butter. Now, they have European theme Anchor-branded desserts with the tagline “Connecting with Loved Ones”. Apparently they do have a range of desserts last year too which was Japanese inspired.
You can find the dessert all over Malaysia in selected bakeries. In Kuching, you can get it at Taka Cake House. The limited edition desserts are created by Fonterra’s own in-house patisserie chefs with Anchor butter, cream cheese, milk, and cream.
Left: Cheeznie (RM6.30), cream cheese sandwiched between two slices of decadent chocolate brownies and topped with chopped walnuts.
Right: Almond Rosa (RM6.30), a buttery almond butter sponge cake with a rich layer of cream cheese.
Lady Marmalade (RM3.20), a sweet bread with an orange cream cheese filling topped with orange candied peel.
First Love (RM3.20), a sweet bread with a brown sugar cream cheese in the center sprinkled with brown sugar for added crunch.
I like all of them. They are moist, fluffy, and most importantly, less sweet.
All these only available for a limited time only, from now till December 2016. By the way, buy two boxes of Anchor’s signature desserts, you can get a limited edition Anchor spoon.
Where can you get these delicious desserts? Other than Kuching, you can also get them at RT Pastry branches in Klang Valley, Bread History (Penang), The Bakers Hut (Seri Manjung), Born n Breads (Ipoh), Patisfrance and Yeast Pastry (Malacca), Veluxe Cake House (Skudai), Fung Seng (Muar), Port View Euro Bread (Kota Kinabalu), and Hot Cross Bun (Miri).
Enjoy!
