SARBEX 2010 started today and will end this Sunday. I’m looking forward to this year’s because it’s held at a new place, BCCK(Borneo Convention Centre Kuching).
Managed to pay a visit there this afternoon. It’s definitely different from the previous ones.
Left: There were quite a number of booths outside the main hall.
Right: There was a seminar going on and I managed to get in which I’m not supposed to be in, I was just tagging along with my friends *LOL* Didn’t stay there though, took some photos and left.
Was surprised with the booths in the main hall. You don’t see something like this last time.
I guess it’s due to the space available that allowed the exhibitors to express themselves or is it because of space that made it looked different?
Left: Very colourful pillars.
Right: Headed to the exit and there were rooms that were converted into a mini exhibition rooms. This is one of them.
Left: The cars on display at the exit.
Right: I’m always fascinated by those miniature buildings and houses. Sharing one here with you, 3 cars at the car porch and bedroom in second floor.
Left: High rise buildings.
Right: Some landmarks of Kuching. This booth was showcasing the sewage system project in Kuching. If you want to know what is all those digging around town are all about, this it is.
Check out the expo if you have time. At the same time you can explore BCCK since it’s a new landmark in Kuching.
I like to go to exhibitions and trade shows like this in KL but I always find such events are paid in Melbourne. At the entrance ask me to pay 20++ AU$ lol.
biopolymath, here, all are free, if it’s not free I don’t think anyone will want to go ;p that’s what we called cultural difference.
