Loreal De-maq Elixir Concentrate Ultra Make-up Remover is specially formulated for removing waterproof and long wear make-up.
I notice my skin is rather sensitive. If I’m using products that are not suitable, I will get small red patches here and there or sometimes resemble mosquito bites. However, usually it will go away in less than one hour. I usually encounter this problem after washing my face or remove make-up.
It happened that my previous Loreal make-up remover(the one in white bottle) left a bit only before CNY so decided to buy a new make-up remover coz afraid that I might run out of make-up remover during CNY.
I bought Loreal De-maq Elixir Concentrate Ultra Make-up Remover after the sales assistant introduced me to this. In fact I didn’t think much, I’m open to any option so long that it’s not the same one as I was using.
This tube is RM20+ but I had the RM10 voucher from Parkson, so I only paid RM10 for it. There was also 10% discount.
Now, I use it every single time before I go shower to remove my make-up if I got make-up on because it’s so easy and not messy to use. The feeling when it’s on your face is so smooth and silky unlike the old one that I used which is very messy and I only used it when I did apply full make-up so it took ages to finish ;p Guess how long? If I’m not mistaken, 5-6 years. Hahaha…
However, for Loreal De-maq Elixir Concentrate Ultra Make-up Remover, I use it every single time before shower to remove my make-up even when I have very light make-up on. Last time, I won’t bother, would only use eye make-up remover if I got eye make-up on.
I’m a lazy girl ;p I don’t really like to use eye make-up remover for the eyes that why I seldom apply make-up to my eyes and then another remover for the face. It will take up lots of time. So with Loreal De-maq Elixir Concentrate Ultra Make-up Remover, it’s eye and face make-up remover in one! The lazy and small faced me just need a very small amount for the whole face including the eyes.
This one tube is 100ml and I estimate that it might take me about 2 years or so to finish it since I don’t use makeup everyday and the amount needed is so little. The best thing is that, I haven’t experience any itchiness after using it.
The lazy me also don’t like to remove the residue of the make-up remover with cotton pad especially when I’m thinking of the rubbing, pulling, tugging of the face skin, I’m not a very young teenage girl anymore, I’m in my late twenties(*HORROR* Time flies!! Now have to admit that I’m old hahaha…) so have to handle the skin gently. With this, I just go to shower and let the shower water wash it off then follow by the usual facial cleansing foam. Even just by washing off with water, you can feel that your skin is so smooth and clean! Just like what is stated on the tube, “Satin-soft Touch”.
You don’t have to use much force or energy when removing your make-up too, just very gently spread it and massage it on your face.
OK! OK! I’m not paid for writing this! If I am, how nice it would be.
Anyway, this is the best make-up remover I came across so far.
How is it at removing waterproof mascara? And does it blur your eyes after you sort of gently rub away your eye makeup?
I’m using waterproof mascara and it’s so easy to remove compare to the usual eye make-up remover that I use.
Don’t have to do much rubbing or tugging with cotton pad, just spread a small amount with your finger on your eyelid and lashes(rememeber to close your eyes) and let it stay there for a while and gently rub with your finger and use your fingers to like gently “kiap” the lashes few time to clean those on the lashes will do.
So far it never blur my eyes coz it’s not like conventional one that you need to use cotton pad to remove. Just go to the sink and splash it off with water and do your usual cleansing will do.
Hehe… thanks! It sounds like one from Estee Lauder I used to use but it somehow always ended up in my eyes so it got all blurry. I’ll KIV this one. 🙂
If you got it into your eyes it sure will get blurry especially if you’re using eyeliner. It stated that it’s safe for contact lense wearer.
Sound great! Haha… I m looking for Make-up remover… Kind of lazy to think on what product to buy… Probably would go for this one… 🙂
Sweet Lavender, it’s not that expensive so at least if you don’t like it, you won’t be so heart broken ;p To me, this is one really great make-up remover.
