My Streamyx still down.*SIGH* Hate you! This post is auto published.
This is the latest craze(I think) in Kuching. My parents bought this back from the ground floor of Crowne Plaza(Riverside) yesterday. There were so many people buying it till they had to call people to send more ingredients over. Well… It will frizzle after the craze because it’s something new. Kuchingites are like this, when there is new thing, people will all flock there and then after the heat is over, most will not go back for the second time.
I tried this popiah, as it claims, it’s indeed crispy. However, I still prefer the traditional type of popiah than this. It’s not as flavourful as the traditional one. At least that’s what my tastebuds told me. So, I guess most will not go back for the second time.
By the way, they do provide catering(at least 300 rolls) and free delivery(at least 30 rolls). If you are interested, here’s the contact numbers, 012-8842210 or 012-8882210.
ermm…something like KL’s pohpiah i think..cuz KL’s 1 similar…crunchy crunchy 1 in the inside
wickedghost, hello 🙂 Yes, according to them it’s from KL.
it’s definitely the Sister’s Crispy Popiah franchise from KL. I personally like it, although the Crowne Plaze one is a bit skimp on the ingredients. I always get my popiah from Satok Gallery’s. mmm…I’m craving for one right now
shirley, welcome 🙂 I see… Satok Gallery already have it before. I didn’t know 😛 hehehehe…
