Secret Recipe Is Officially Open!

Posted on April 20, 2007April 20, 2007 By sweet surrender 17 Comments on Secret Recipe Is Officially Open!

Thanks to Anna, she told Jimmy it’s open yesterday. So we decided to go there without Pinky hahaha… Our initial plan was to have an early celeberation for Pinky’s birthday on the 18th but who knows… They delayed the opening. Then it opened yesterday, her birthday! Well… She already had birthday plan so she couldn’t join us. We decided to go in the afternoon for tea break hahaha… Coz I’m sure at night there will be a lot of people.

From the outside.

The inside.

Left: Many people when we were there.
Right: Browniessssssss…. Most of the brownies cost RM4/piece.

Left: Cheesecake and fresh cream cakes, each is RM6/slice except blackforest cake that costs RM6.50/slice.
Middle: Tropical Smoothies(RM7), quite sour. Well…It’s good as the cakes were sweet, not really that sweet actually, I don’t like sweet stuffs but the cakes’ sweetness was OK.
Right: Vanilla Milk Shake (RM8.80). Not very sweet also.

Left: Tiramisu (RM6). It’s no very sweet. The cake was really moist.
Right: Chocolate Cheese(RM6). It’s not very sweet as first, the more you eat the sweeter it became but with the not-so-sweet drinks, I could tolerate the sweetness.

Left: I bought a piece of cake back home so that my parents could try it out. They were shocked to hear that it’s RM6 for a slice like this. Hahahah…
Right: I bought Mango Delight(RM6). I almost ordered this after seeing the picture in the menu but ended up ordering Tiramisu πŸ˜› The fresh mango chuncks in there with mango puree on top of the fresh cream looked yummy, this is a bit more on the sweeter note than the Tiramisu I had.

Umm… Price range is more towards the higher end. If you dine in, you need to pay 5% GST and 10% service tax. There is no way to indulge in it everyday. Only once in a blue moon maybe… I’m not sure when I will be going there again. I doubt that it will be so soon. Hahahaha… *shrug*

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
