The Wishing Well

Posted on March 24, 2007March 24, 2007 By sweet surrender 15 Comments on The Wishing Well

I’m sure many are waiting for this new establishment to open huh? Hehehe.. It’s located opposite Padungan Police Station. You wil not miss it, it’s painted in pink, corner shop. The owner is the same owner as Tom’s.

Went there after BTS yesterday and how lucky were we!!! Cool… It’s their first day opening for business! We went there to try out. No other customers except their own friends. See the interior first, very unique.

Walked towards the inside of the cafe and saw this water feature. Inside has guppies. Looked up and rain drops on me hahaha… The above is not closed. Just bamboos and if it’s raining, you can see water falling from the top. Natural fountain eh? Interesting. They have two storeys but we didn’t go upstair.

Left: The cosy corner, great to hang out with friends.
Middle: Strawberry Smoothie(RM7.50). They gave me a glass of warm water too as it’s raining. So thougthful of them. They only gave me but didn’t give to Jimmy πŸ˜› The Strawberry Smoothie isn’t very thick but it’s not that bad. Not very sweet I should say.
Right: Blueberry Soda(RM3.90).

We ordered Pork Yakitori(RM6) on the right. It took quite a while to prepare. While we waited, out of sudden, they brought Kaya Toast(left) for us to try for FREE! WOW!! Cool! Cool! The Kaya Toast was very nice πŸ™‚ if not mistaken it’s about RM4++ After quite a while, finally our Prok Yakitori came. We didn’t know what it was at first and ordered it because of curiousity. WOW… Tasted great! The pork were tender and juicy. Not oily though you can see fat chuncks there hahaha… They had it cooked just right. It didn’t stuck to the teeth at all! Perfect!

Really a great place to hang out. πŸ™‚ Do check it out. The choice for food isn’t much and no fancy drinks too. Maybe price a bit high but tasted great! I think they will have more coming soon.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
