神ç»ç—…! In case you don’t know what is this, it means “CRAZY!” in Chinese.
Went to Tri-Garden last week, not for the hot pot though, just to accompany someone for dinner hahaha… If I wasn’t full that night, we would be ordering the hot pot since it’s a cold and rainy night.
Nevermind, we can always go some other days with more people, the more the marrier. It’s almost similar to Chong Qing Steamboat(not sure still in operation or not hmm… Long time didn’t go there hehehe…) but this is from Sichuan. The pot is different too and it uses electrical stove instead of gas.
Before we reached the shop, just few shops away and we could already smell the spiciness! WAH! Heard from friend that the least spicy one is spicy enough already to those that like spicy food. Hahaha… Let’s go challenge it? Hey Ann, Lee! 😛 Let’s go there to have steamboat.
Left: Here’s the menu for the steamboat. The pricings are quite standard, similar to Chong Qing one.
Right: One of the drinks, they recommended this to us, pretty sweet but refreshing. Lemon Sea Coconut(RM2.50).
Here’s two dishes we ordered:
Guiness pork/chicken/prawn/fish/sotong(RM8). I don’t remember what meat it this 😛 As I’m not the one ordering it. It’s very nice to pair with plain rice else the flavour would be a bit too salty. I noticed Sichuan’s flavorings are pretty strong or flavourful. It’s either very sweet, salty or spicy. I guess that’s their uniqueness.
Hong Kong Style Small Cabbage(RM6), this is quite salty also but if you pair it with plain rice, it’s just nice.
By the way, a bowl of rice is RM1.
So… Anyone wanna go? Hehehe… Oh ya… The location, located at Padungan at the previous “Lau Dian”. If you coming from the cat statue, it’s on your left row of shops, you can easily spot it. It’s before Memories if I’m not mistaken.
wow..where is tri-garden..the food really seem attractive
LOL… Aiyaya… Forgot to let you ppl know about the location 😛 It’s located at Padungan. Last time is Lau Dian, now is Tri-Garden.
RM 8 + RM 6 = RM 14 for 2 person. quite reasonable for a dinner ah 😀
Total for two is RM20 but only ordered one bowl of rice.
