Car Got STOLEN!!!

Posted on February 11, 2007February 11, 2007 By sweet surrender 7 Comments on Car Got STOLEN!!!

Actually it happened yesterday dawn. My uncle’s Suzuki jeep got stolen. Aiyoo… Stupid thief, stole an almost 15 years old car that has so many problems, engine problem, clutch problem… The car was a “cut” car (kereta potong). It means the car was cut into parts before sending over here from Japan and was re-assembled by welding every part to one piece. Good thing they didn’t steal our cars which was parked as the same place.

We had one Suzuki jeep more than 10 years ago too. It’s a much newer model than my uncle’s. It was also stolen. Worst still, the car was towed away from our garage instead of driven away coz the battery was dead that time, supposed to get the battery changed the next day. The court hearings had been going on for more than a decade too and never settled until recently, I think… As didn’t hear my father says anything about it anymore and he didn’t go to the court like he used to anymore. They kept adjorned the hearings due to many “unforeseen circumstances” and had dragged for more than a decade. There were too many people involved even those people that supposed to uphold the law.

Our “car” that got stolen was found in one of the division in Sarawak, I can’t remember where, could be Bintulu. One innocent guy bought it and got involved in an accident that caused the jeep to suffer serious damages. This leads to further investigations as this case involved several jeeps of the same model. Why “car”? This is because the jeep was re-assembled. The body belonged to someone else; the engine belonged to another person; the chassis number belonged to another person; the interior belonged yet again to someone else. -_-” I forgot which part was ours. So… Imagine that… So many people involved!

Afraid of your safety now? So many crimes happened recently. Alysha house was broken in few days back; Nien’s friend got snatched yesterday; another uncle’s cars'(2 cars! A Perdana and Ford Ranger) windscreens was smashed last year end on the same night; my aunt got snatched few years back… So many cases, can’t finish listing them out. I’m sure everyone has at least know somebody that had became a victim of these crimes. How safe are we these days?*SIGH*

It makes us all wonder whether anything has been done to catch the thieves, no?

Those involved are caught but what the use of it? With some twistings here and there and they are free again. Adjorned and adjorned, they were out of bail, at the end the case just end like that.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
