Proton Inspira

Posted on December 14, 2010December 14, 2010 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Proton Inspira

Supposed to post this 2 weeks ago but was too occupied with the MTCHD7 reviews. Photos taken using the phone though.

Proton Inspira, no stranger to Malaysian. One of the latest Proton cars. What makes it different is that it’s actually Mitsubishi Lancer. Everything is similar(or almost similar), they just changed the logo. It’s not copycat, it’s the collaboration of Proton and Mitsubishi. I’m no car expert, that’s what I heard from people.

It’s much cheaper than Lancer(after taxed). I’m not sure how people that had bought Lancer will feel(especially those that tried hard to save up their money and finally can own one). Are they spending too much money on the same thing? Another thing, will it affect Lancer’a resale value?

Well… I guess it will sound nicer/better/with more omph if your car is called a Lancer instead of Inspira, right? Human ego I guess…

Anyway, whatever it is, I know there are many people out there that don’t like Proton and make uncivilised statements as if Proton had done something wrong to them or owe them zillions of kaching and will attack whoever that bought Proton car or support Proton car when leaving comments.

Com’on la people… You don’t have to resort to such childish act, it’s none of your business what people want to buy and what they support.

Test drive it already?

Hi Irene, thats a nice car. And yes, here it’s known as a Mitsubitshi, I think.
I am more familiar with Canadian cars especially muscle cars, those with monster V8 5.8 litre engines.
They make beautiful burbling sounds like a tiger at the zoo when hungry.

So? You buying this car? It’s a good car. You keep well, have fun, Lee.

Uncle Lee, yeap, it’s Mitsubishi Lancer. Proton is collaborating with them for this model. Ppl said it’s actually Lancer just change the name only.

Nope, can’t afford to buy a car lol. Besides, I prefer a 4×4 not a sedan.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
