No Ambulance Service To Rural Area!

Posted on May 7, 2007May 8, 2007 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on No Ambulance Service To Rural Area!

Rest In Peace. You will always be in our memories. Don’t worry, for God will look after us.

What’s the use of an ambulance? What’s the use of hospital in a small district with so many kampungs in there?

I really don’t understand. Aren’t you supposed to be providing services to all these people staying there no matter they live in the town or in the small villages? Is it so hard to send an ambulance into the village when they need one? Summore, the village’s road is properly tarred, no one ask you to venture in those muddy or rocky road. Dare to said that you don’t provide ambulance service to them? You are not a private hospital! You’re a government hospital. It’s your job to take care and provide medical services for those living in your area! Who else they can rely but you?

Fine! I know that the ambulance is huge! There are small ambulance that is available also. Even vans and 4-wheel drives that are provided to your hospital for you to do your work will do. Why can’t you utilised it? Those people rely on you to help them to send those sick villagers in the village to the hospital.

I noticed that many villagers delayed seeking medical treatments when they are very sick because you don’t provide ambulance service into their village. They have difficulty in sending the sick to the hospital because they don’t have enough knowledge on how to handle the sick and they are afraid that improper handling might cause more problem to the sick. All these don’t matter at all! The fact is that, isn’t that supposed to be the work of ambulance sending people to the hospital?!?!? Summore, the ambulance has facilities and the space for the sick, at least early treatments can be given first by the medical personnels.

At the end, they just have to let the sick suffer at home and eventually died! All because of no ambulance service provided to them!

Back to my point again, what is your role there? It’s unbelievable that there is no ambulance service made available to those in rural area! DAMN IT! Now I know! All these while I thought ambulance should come when you need it, it doesn’t matter it’s from the government hospital or private hospital. This is how it should work right? Government ambulance only charges RM10 per trip unlike the private one charges RM600 per trip then fee is charge to the bill when they are discharged, no money should be collected on the spot. I don’t think it’s all because of the money, I don’t know what. Policy? What kind of rubbish/stupid/useless policy is that?

UNBELIVEABLE! THERE IS NO AMBULANCE SERVICE PROVIDED TO THOSE LIVING IN RURAL AREA!

Tell me abt it…in places like Metro Melaka…they have to rely on the Pak Wanca (Kereta Sewa) as the Taxi instead… and if you are unlucky to be on border zones…you are better off to drop in to the Military hospital instead. Better treatment in the military than in KKM, where 92.4% of deaths are on purpose or negligent.

I don’t think we have military hospital. At least I have not heard of it in Kuching.

The villagers kept telling us there is no such service to the village. So damn angry, I called up 103 then get the one and only hospital contact from there and my dad called the hospital ask for ambulance, they just told him they don’t provide ambulance service to kampung. Didn’t want to waste time to argue with them we had to use our own car. That’s what government hospital in rural area behave. *shake head*

Good thing there is no such thing in Kuching. at least I had never heard of any. They come when you need them.
