Everybody Can Fly, Now Go Bankrupt Calling Customer Support

Posted on October 31, 2008November 1, 2008 By sweet surrender 7 Comments on Everybody Can Fly, Now Go Bankrupt Calling Customer Support

I got my phone bill today and to my horror, there’s a very big figure in there! I’m not happy. I’m angry, angry, angry! I had sent Air Asia this following mail:

    Dear Air Asia,

I know that the respond time is very slow and I don’t mind waiting as I have the time. What I’m unhappy is how the call is charged.

Why can’t you have a toll free number? You know that the waiting time is very long and we as the caller have to hang on the phone for so long to speak to a customer support. It’s less than 2 minutes to get the matter fixed but I had to pay the bill of almost 1 hour due to the wait and worst, I’m making a long distant phone call because of your 03 number.

People had been complaining about the slow respond time and you have to make them pay for the phone bill for such long respond time summore. How good is this?

If you really want to improve, please give a toll free number. Even though people might be pissed with the waiting time, at least just let them piss for this matter rather than adding to their agony of paying such expensive phone bill!

I called customer support for the first time wanted to get a spelling error fixed after no respond via email. I waited for about 15 mins and I hung up.

Then I called again, this time, I waited for almost one hour to get my phone call attended to and hearing the ad rotating and rotating. Now my phone bill comes and the charges is really expensive!

Everybody can fly, now everybody can go bankrupt calling customer support.

Your loyal customer that is not happy with your 03 number,
    Irene.

Oh ya ;p I didn’t check my language in there, I didn’t bother anyway.

Whether they will care or not I don’t know. At least this is what I feel about them. So far I never got problem with Air Asia and I’m always being the lucky one. I never got my flight delayed or cancelled or retimed but I’m so not happy with their customer support number.

Penang post will come soon.

Update: GOSH! That’s the thing when you got angry and didn’t check what you had typed before hitting the send button. It was actually one hour of trying, the second call lasted almost half hour, not one hour -.- DAMN! Now I’m making a fool of myself but hey! even though it’s only almost half hour, the charge is damn expensive already!

    Hey Irene,

U know what .. i experienced this not long ago. I called so many times to get my itinerary but on hold for so many times. Then i got so pissed i emailed to Tony and he replied back and got someone to handle my case.

I mocked him cause there was a statement in AA website that one should call the guest support number for urgent request and i quoted what the website said and added, You Kidding Me Right ?

    Very inefficient la these ppl.

Going to the sales office is not convenient at all. At least for me the lazy one that have to drive out there, find parking, walk and then wait. *LOL*

Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
