Got the invitation. The custom wedding day is coming soon in few hours time. I’m not the “ji mui” for tomorrow hehehe… I’m there to take photos, just being nosy. If I’m the “ji mui” I won’t be able to follow her back home. Aaccording to her mum, the “ji mui” have to stay at the groom’s house while the bride goes home. “Ji mui” is the bride’s troop. “Ji mui” is in Cantonese and “Jie mei” in Mandarin. Both mean “sisters”.
I went over to her houes today to take some photos to save my battery tomorrow. Also, it’s daytime, bright enough, so it’s easier to take photos. However, I’m so absent minded. I forgot to take photos of her album and her heels. I’ll take tomorrow then.
Here’s her gown and accessories for tomorrow. Not sure why she has two pairs of gloves.
These are the things that will be going to the groom’s house with her.
By the way, she doesn’t even have the idea of her schedule tomorrow. *LOL* Only know when she will need to start her makeup, hairstyling session, and reach the groom’s house before 9am.
Surprisingly, there will be no tea ceremony for the bride’s side. Something new… GOOD! I hate tea ceremony hahaha… Again… I don’t want this in my wedding. According to her mom, they don’t need it as they are of certain dialect group. I can’t remember which one. Hmm… I thought all Chinese dialect groups will have tea ceremony for wedding hahaha… But this one doesn’t have. Cool…
