BDC Interchange

Posted on May 13, 2007May 13, 2007 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on BDC Interchange

These are the photos while the constructions were still going on.

TADA! It’s launched on the 10th of May 2007. This flyover costs RM220 million. It’s completed in just 8 months!!! EH! Realiable or not ah? Don’t later be like that KIA got leakage from the ceiling at the check-in counter area. The hornbill is placed back! Can you see it? Somewhere in the middle of the picture. It’s one of our popular landmarks.

More shoots from different side of the flyover.

By the way, the landscaping is not done yet. They are in the process of doing it.

So you will be greeted by this flyover and interchange when you are going down to Kuching city center from the airport. Hopefully traffic jam can be reduced at this area.

It certainly has reduced traffic jams and for that I’m grateful. The flyover has a speed limit of 70 though (surprise!) so feel kinda jiet when you go up the semi-steep flyover at that speed. Like riding on a snail. 😀

Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
