Green Heights Mall

Posted on June 14, 2008June 20, 2008 By sweet surrender 10 Comments on Green Heights Mall

Sigh… There you go… My nightmare begins… I was invited for a food tasting this afternoon but because of my class I can’t go πŸ™

I didn’t want to loss out so I went to Green Heights Mall yesterday. This is the latest mall in Kuching. If you are expecting it to be another big one, you’re so wrong, it’s so small. Very small that meant to be for those staying nearby instead of huge mall like tHe Spring or Boulevard. When everyone is trying to build the biggest mall, this one stands out by just being the smallest one.

The opening ceremony was over when I reached there. Coffee Bean isn’t open for business yet. So do other shops, you can even count with your 5 fingers.

Left: Cold Storage is finally here in Kuching. I had surveyed some of the stuffs there. Some of them are slightly expensive compare to other places. They have lots of imported food that I don’t think I’ve seen it anywhere in Kuching before. They aren’t cheap of course. There’s a cheese section, wow… See the stock of cheese, I’ve never seen so many different types of cheese before. At the meat section, they have meats that are marinated and nicely presented, don’t be fool by the cheap prices you see, it’s actually displayed based on per gram instead of kilo hahaha…

Right: Desserts, the third branch in Kuching, it’s expanding really fast.

Left: The only escalator you can find.

Right: Second floor has nothing yet. Only 4 stalls are opened. The rest still not open for business.

Left: They try to bring in the natural light with this.

Right: Random shoot of the decorations hanging from the ceiling.

Left: View of a section of Cold Storage taken from the second floor.

Right: Guardian is having special offers now. If you buy more than RM80 worth of products, you get a goodie bags! I got it and there’re lots of samples in there. Great for my trip to Penang this October. If you buy more than RM50, you can get RM5 discount with the voucher available on the flyer they’re giving out.

It seemed like most people went there and ended up with bags and bags of stuffs. Business seemed pretty good hahaha…

Uniquely Kuching

eeee.. I didn’t know about the goodie bag. I just came back from that place, and I think I’m going to love it there. Coldstorage has a wider variety of imported goods. The ice creams, though expensive, OMG I love that section. Ok, I shall stop gushing. Go check it out people.

I think they’re trying to cater for the posh. I think la.

Katherine-Lee, yeap πŸ˜› I notice that too, it’s targetting more towards the upper market since many that stay there are pretty rich πŸ˜› See the big houses and big cars at that area, obviously.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
