Do not mix up Crown Square and Crowne Plaza. The former is at Pending, the later is at Padungan area.
WOW… Crown Square is so different now. However, the renovation is still on. Not fully done yet. Each floor has different concept. Well… Don’t know how to explain 😛 Just show you the photos. Too bad I don’t have the before renovation photos.
Ground floor. Feels a bit like Bugis in Singapore.
Second floor is still quite the same just that they now have shops in the middle of second floor now.
Third floor’s design is quite contemporary and have a bit of outdoor feel. Guess what?!?! They have a nail bar there! Also a spa!! Also a new hair salon! They have two hair salons now in Crown Square. Gossh… I spotted Kiddycare there! There’s a Mummycare on the fourth floor! They are even at the same side and have the same shop’s length but just different floor!! (-_-“) Selling mostly the same stuffs!! Are they belong to the same owner? *SHRUG* By the way, fourth floor is still the same.
I have not been to crowne square for ages, the last time i was there it was still in the beginning stage of renovation/face-lift.
Anyway, looking from ur photos, it seems like the place has improved a lot ! I must go jalan jalan there one of these days.
did u miss the important bit of the ground floor? :/
there’s that new uncle ho’s fine food place!
if u do try it, i recommend the sausages or pasta there. the crispy pork and knuckle which is ok, but can easily get that elsewhere
Robin, you should go have a look, it’s something you can’t see in other places in Kuching. Hahaha…
crispy, I didn’t plan to mention about Uncle Ho’s 😛 Not until I had eaten there hehe…
