My Watch Story

Posted on May 24, 2012May 24, 2012 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on My Watch Story

I used to wear a watch since primary school to college. I’ve no idea how many watches I had. What I remember is that each of them lasted for years before I changed a new one. I no longer wear one after college because I did not bother to get my watch’s battery changed after it died. That time I had a mobile phone already so I didn’t think of getting a new watch. My mobile phone was my watch.

I only started wearing one again in 2010 because my sister bought a Fossil watch for me, not one of those Invicta Watches though. Maybe someone can buy me this watch. I’ve been wearing it daily since then. Without it, I felt like something missing especially when I’m out and about. Sometimes if I forgot to wear it when I’m out, I would be very worry because I thought I might have lost it or dropped it somewhere. How stupid can that be? That’s how important my watch is to me.

The phone can’t replace the watch because phone is too bulky and a bit inconvenient because you need to turn it on to check the time or take it out from your pocket or bag for it. Also, not everytime you are allowed to have your phone with you such as during exam. A watch would be a very convenient way to know the time. It’s just there on your wrist.

What about you? Do you wear a watch or your mobile phone is now also your watch?

I wear a watch every day. My wrist feels naked without it.

BTW, nice to see you still blogging. Australia has lots to experience and share.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
