It seems like everywhere in the world is suffering from the escalating cost of energy and we always see and hear in newspapers, radios, TV and even the Internet that Scientist are doing extensive to utilise solar energy not only to cut the cost of energy but also as a way to have a greener earth for our next generation because it could reduce the negative effects of climate change and global warming caused by long-established methods of generating energy.
Solar power or also known as solar energy is a source of power that uses energy from the sun. The primary forms of solar energy are heat and light. Many people are utilizing it for their water heating system locally. As for those colder countries, many people are opting for solar space heating for their home or office building. The most common thing we’re using for decades that utilised solar is the calculator. My brother is wearing a solar powered watch. Many garden lamps are utilising solar energy. It really save a lot of costs.
I think Asia a place that can exploit the potential of solar energy because we have sun all year round unlike countries with 4 seasons but I don’t seem to see much about it here. I guess we don’t have much awareness here.
In fact, I’m quite fascinated by the concept of solar powered car. However, I don’t think there is any in the market yet right? They’re all prototypes, more studies are needed to make it a success.
If you would like to utilise solar energy for your home or office, try Apricus Solar Thermal Collectors that could provide innovative solutions for solar water heating, solar air conditioning and solar space heating (solar HVAC) for residential and commercial applications.
